Brought team here for lunch! Crew handled us very well and food was wonderful. Recommend this place to anyone

I had the shrimp poboy and my wife had the pasta salad and a pizza. All the food tasted amazing. The shrimp on the poboy were cooked to perfection! We sat inside and it was nice and cozy. It's not the biggest restaurant inside but you still have adequate space to move around but the food is so amazing you can overlook that. My only complaint would be i wish our waiter was more attentive especially when there wasn't a lot of other customers there yet. But all in all it was great and I can't wait to go back.

I love Ragtime Cafe! It's family friendly and spacious. I enjoyed watching tv in the dining area. It was cozy. The steak bigger was amazing! I loved it. I definitely recommend you try it!

One of my favorite restaurants in Birmingham. Never had a bad meal. Cannot skip the crab claws. They are meaty and seasoned perfectly. Quiche is A+++. Sweet tea is perfect. From salads to steak sandwiches you just cannot go wrong with any meal. Only complaint is taking the steak medallion sandwich off the menu. It was my favorite. Of course that does not stop me from loving this place . The service is also always on par. Great place to sit outside and enjoy the great weather when we have it .

Found it right here on Yelp. Sandwich was delicious and a great value for the quality of the steak. Place was packed and service was perfect and the kitchen was prompt. Next time in town, I will be back.

One of our favorite places to dine. Great atmosphere, amazing and friend food. Fast and friendly service. If you get here after 6-6:30, you may have a small wait but it is worth it! The pasta, crab cakes and onion rings are some of my favorite things!

We stop here every time we are in Hoover to see my doctor. This is always over the lunch hour and it is always crowded but we have never waited long to be seated or waited on. The food is always hot and delicious. My husband's favorite is the mushroom, onion and swiss burger with fries and I love the Black & Bleu Ribeye Caesar salad. Their shrimp is amazing also! Wait staff is friendly, fast, and helpful. It's a definite must try if you're in the area.

Came to Ragtime for an early dinner/ late lunch. We were seated quickly. Our server Diana took care of us as best she could. She had lots of tables to see about. We got some onion rings and queso for apps. They came out in good time. But it took a long while for our meals to actually come. Seems like forever when your waiting. I was so happy that they had black eye pea jambalaya soup for today. It's so good but it's on a rotation so it's not always available when I go. I got the combo soup and club. Both were yummy! Not very many dessert options so we skipped that. But no real disappointment... food was good!
